Having started out with its production of MSG in 1964, the company has enjoyed accelerated growth as it accumulated fermentation technology

We are now making effective use of our strain improvement and fermentation technology using microbial resources to produce and sell amino acid for feed and food, seasoning materials, and high vegetable protein materials.

We have the largest share of the global lysine, tryptophan, nucleic acid, valine, SPC (Soy Protein Concentrate) market with 11 plants in 6 countries, and sales networks throughout 37 countries. We became the first in the world to develop fermentation-based L-Methionine in 2015, and our technology has become widely recognized.

We acquired Haide (2016) to expand our food amino acid business, and Brazil’s Selecta (2017) to expand the high-quality vegetable protein business. We are now experiencing rapid growth as a global BIO company.

Bio resources

The biological resource business consists of the high-profit feed business and the livestock business based on productivity, and our company is now expanding its business focus towards Southeast Asia, particularly Indonesia and Vietnam.
In addition, it is growing into a global feed/livestock company by integrating the pig/chicken farming livestock business and continuously expanding its downstream value chain.
