CJ CheilJedang provides the evaluation results of its sustainability
management activities conducted by domestic and overseas organizations.
The Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) serve as the evaluation method for global sustainability management and the standard for investment. Companies to be included in DJSI are selected based on the comprehensive assessment of economic performance as well as environmental and social aspects. CJ CheilJedang was the only Korean company that was included in the Asia-Pacific Index of DJSI in the category of food and beverages in 2017 for three consecutive years.

The Korea Corporate Governance Service (KCGS) evaluates the aspects of governance (G), the environment (E), and society (S) by identifying if a company keeps up with the global trend of CSR, along with its various relations with the environment, customers and local communities. CJ CheilJedang received the overall level of A in 2017.

The Korea Commission for Corporate Partnership (KCCP) assesses and announces the Win-Win Index of each company to facilitate the mutual growth of SMEs and large companies. This is an official index that combines the fair trade agreement implementation evaluation (an annual on-site inspection of large companies) by the Korea Fair Trade Commission (KFTC) and the satisfaction level survey (a half-yearly survey of suppliers) by KCCP. CJ CheilJedang received the Best level two years in a row (2015-2016) for the first time in the food industry.
