Beginning with manufacturing of sugar in 1953, the CJ CheilJedang Food Business Division has been making efforts to improve people’s dietary lives. It has continued to grow to become a first-class food company by expanding its business areas with the introduction of Dasida in 1975 and Hetbahn in 1996.

Many brands and best-selling products such as Beksul that have been consumer favorites for a long time, bibigo that contains the taste and flavor of Korean food, and Dasida, Haechandle, Hetbahn, and The Happy Soy have all become valuable assets of CJ CheilJedang. CJ CheilJedang will not rest on being Korea’s No. 1 food company and intends to reach customers with healthier and more convenient food. Its goal is to become a global top 10 company in 2020 by producing and distributin excellent Korean food and introducing new K-Food products that combine local and Korean food.
